The introduction of a Sandtray Therapy with our clients this year has been a fabulous success. Sandtray therapy is a form of psychotherapy that attempts to form a connection with the psyche towards a goal of healing. This technique is adapted to be culturally relevant using traditional and contemporary Aboriginal figures (ex: warrior and animal totems), as well as leading to discussion about culture and spirituality, and in turn leading to greater healing.
