Little Arrow Club

The Little Arrow Club is a weekly after school homework club for children between 7 to 12 years old that provides assistance and resources to help them complete their homework.

• Small group learning “stations” help children learn problem solving skills and develop their creativity when they do not have homework. For example, a reading corner promotes literacy, storytelling and traditional values, educational board games promote concentration and spelling, and math exercises promote problem solving skills.

• Yummy and healthy snacks and hot meals are served.

• Planned physical activities are integrated each night, such as: engaging the kids in traditional games and dances, going to the Boys and Girls Club, bowling, various seasonal sports, and practicing a martial art (Jiu-Jitsu). These activities greatly contribute to their wellbeing and having fun!

When:
Thursdays, from 3:45 to 7:00 PM (in basement)

We are very grateful for the funding support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation of these two programs.
