Child and Family Art Project
Funded by the Aboriginal Healing Foundation

The Child and Family Art Project (CFAP) is a series of inter-related and interdependent activities designed to help children and families heal from the Intergenerational Impacts of residential school abuse.

The program was founded on the belief that Aboriginal traditions of communal art-making and the process of Art Therapy within a family –like atmosphere can foster relationships of trust and a sense of belonging for urban Aboriginal families at risk.

Through this process. Families begin to see a clearer, more positive picture of themselves, their interaction with others, the problems they face and the solutions that are possible.
